FAQs
Q: Can I do sessions online?
Yes, we absolutely can work together online. During the pandemic I gave all of my sessions online and thankfully the work still translates well on screen. I primarily work on Zoom but can offer other preferred platforms to work together on.
Q: Do you offer discounts?
Yes, I do offer a sliding scale for those struggling with financial hardship. If you book in for a 3 session bundle the price will also be reduced.
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
I operate a 48 hour notice period for cancellations meaning that if the session is cancelled less than 48 hours in advance, I cannot refund the session unless it is an emergency and the session can be rescheduled within a week.
Q: Can I pay for sessions in instalments?
In the case of 3 session bundles, the sessions need to be paid in full in advance of 48 hours before the first session of the bundle. In the case of single sessions, full payment will be required 48 hours before the session to ensure booking in complete.
Q: What if I feel worse after a session?
In some instances when opening up the psyche/body there can be an intensification of 'undesirable' feelings that have been buried for some time and are seeking completion. This is a normal reaction that can of course feel disconcerting if we don't have a framework for healing being a non linear process. Should you feel significantly concerned about your mental health following a session I am open to a follow up call and if the symptoms persist please speak to your GP to seek professional mental health guidance.
Q: Would you be open to seeing clients with severe mental health issues such as PTSD, OCD, depression, anxiety, BPD, DID?
All of the modalities I use in my client work are highly effective at working with trauma symptoms, however in the instances of severe mental health conditions, it is safer for clients to seek out professional mental health practitioners through the NHS. If you're in need of immediate support try Samaritans on 116 123.
